A Time of Contemplation to Reach Deeper into our Relationship with the Lord: Everyone is Welcome

Our next meeting will be scheduled for the summer

Theme this time:

Please bring verses that speak to you about the current War. I would like to go deep into the Word, into lectio and meditation together.

Come: As you are or fasting (full or Daniel fast). Wear comfortable clothes.

Bring: a Bible and something to write on – a journal.

Have in mind: A place of perfect calm you can go to whether actually or virtually during our meeting.

Over 1.5 hours, we shall:

  • Pray and Meditate
  • Engage in Lectio Divina*
  • Journal and share, (if we wish)

*Lectio Divina is an exercise practiced since Medieval times: monks would hear a passage from Scripture read over and over until, having chosen something from it that spoke to them especially, each monk would meditate upon that word, phrase, story or idea. We then share how the Holy Spirit has spoken to us.

“God has just used you mightily to bless me and our relationship as sisters in Christ. The meeting was indeed ‘ a rich feast’.” Alison Hayes, UK
